ANTI-CORPORATIZATION

Over the last decade, public universities have come to increasingly rely on private sources for funding. While much of this reliance comes from the stagnating sources of public  funding, it is also fueled by an active drive from both government and institutional administrators to partner with private industry.

This campaign seeks to raise awareness about and challenge these shifting priorities of our colleges and universities. In order to mobilize students to challenge corporatization and reclaim public post-secondary education, this campaign connects students’ everyday experiences, including rising tuition fees, a decrease in student space on campus and not receiving research funding, to corporatization.
